Beatnik Theatre Company are a not for profit company who's aim is to bring new, exciting and edgy shows to Yeovil's thriving theatre scene. As well as fundraising for Beatnik, we raise money for causes close to our hearts. To date, we've raised over £1000 for good causes in our local area.
Alan has been performing in Yeovil for many years and has taken on both lead and ensemble roles with many of Yeovil's theatre groups. His onstage credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, 9to5 The Musical, West Side Story, Oliver, Fame, Grease, Godspell and The Wizard of Oz.
As well as performing in Beatnik's debut production of Avenue Q as Nicky, it was also Alan's directorial debut. Together with Co-director Will, they won 'Best Director of a Musical' at the David Beach Awards.

Lauren has been involved with local theatre for over 10 years and has taken on lead and ensemble roles in a huge variety of shows. Her recent onstage credits include 9to5 The Musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, White Christmas, Beauty and the Beast, Jekyll and Hyde and Sister Act.
Lauren played the role of Christmas Eve in Beatnik's debut production of Avenue Q.

Michael is a well known performer in Yeovil and has more onstage credits than most, that span lead and ensemble roles in both Musical Theatre and Pantomime. Michael's credits include 9to5 The Musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, Snow White, White Christmas, Sister Act and Beauty and the Beast to name only a few.
Michael played Brian in Beatnik's debut production of Avenue Q.

Will Poulton
Will is no stranger to the stage and has been involved in Yeovil's theatre scene for many years. He won a David Beach Award for Best Cameo Performance in Guys and Dolls. Will's other credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, Fame, Little Shop of Horrors and The Addams Family.
As well as performing in Beatnik's debut production of Avenue Q as Princeton, it was also Will's directorial debut. Together with Co-director Alan, they won 'Best Director of a Musical' at the David Beach Awards.

Mandy Bussell
Mandy has been performing since a young girl and found a passion for singing early on. She has performed with companies all over the South West and her onstage credits include, 9to5 The Musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, Jekyll and Hyde, Beauty and Beast, Sister Act, West Side Story, The King and I and Evita.
Mandy has also performed as the lead soloist in Martin Emslie's new Oratorio Omega and Alpha.
Mandy was nominated for a David Beach Award for 'Best Supporting Female' for her portrayal of Lucy the Slut in Beatnik's debut production of Avenue Q.

Lisa has performed with many companies across Yeovil and Somerset. Not only a talented lead and ensemble performer, she has also choreographed for a variety of shows. Her on stage credits include Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Sister Act, Spamalot, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita and the King and I.
Lisa played Second Hand Trekkie/Nicky in Beatnik's debut production of Avenue Q.
